The Story Behind the Print

This vintage American Goldfinch print reproduces John James Audubon's illustration from Birds of America, Plate 33, restored as historical wall art for studies, libraries, and natural history collections.

Two goldfinches perch among spiny thistles and reddish flower heads. Brilliant yellow and black plumage contrasts with the lower bird's softer olive tones, bringing warm color to the intricate botanical forms.

Archive Print Co. restores each illustration for clarity while preserving the character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.

Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece; the print will always be richer in person.
