The Story Behind the Print
This vintage Carolina Parrot print reproduces John James Audubon's illustration from Birds of America, plate 26, restored as historical wall art for studies, libraries, and natural history collections.
Green parrots crowd a branching plant laden with dry seed heads. Yellow faces, orange-red markings, and outspread wings create a vivid, tightly arranged composition full of overlapping feathers and botanical detail.
Archive Print Co. restores each illustration for clarity while preserving the character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.
Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece; the print will always be richer in person.
