The Story Behind the Print
Daisy is a 1864 wallpaper design by William Morris, presented here as a carefully prepared art print. The complete pattern is centered on a softly toned paper field for a balanced, uniform presentation.
Small daisies and curling leaves make a lively early Morris repeat in warm red, green, yellow and cream. Its repeating structure rewards both an overall view and close attention to the interlocking details.
Printed to order with archival inks on heavyweight 325gsm museum-grade matte paper.
This edition is designed to coordinate with the other William Morris textile and wallpaper prints in the collection. Color can vary slightly between screens and the finished print, while the scale and even outer borders remain consistent across the series.
