“Purchased as a Christmas gift for my husband, and he loved it. It was exactly what he wanted. The item shipped fast. The seller was able to get my order to me before Christmas, even though I just ordered a week before. It's a beautiful map, quality item. Would buy from this seller again!”

The Story Behind the Print
Essex Massachusetts Map Print, 1884
This historic map print presents the complete Essex atlas plate published by Geo. H. Walker & Co. in 1884. The complete Essex town map retains the winding coastal waterways, road network and softly colored settlement area.
The historic lettering and cartographic detail make this print a thoughtful addition to a Massachusetts home, a study or a collection of New England maps.
Premium Archival Quality
Printed on heavyweight museum-grade matte paper with archival inks. The complete plate is centered on a continuous warm paper background, with balanced paired borders measuring between three-quarters of an inch and one inch at the selected print size.
Available Presentations
Choose Print Only or a professionally framed version in Satin Black, Slimwood Silver or Slimwood Gold. Framed options have no mat and arrive ready to hang. Sizes refer to the paper artwork; the frame adds to the outside dimensions. Display props are not included.
A Thoughtful Gift
A considered gift for Essex residents, map collectors and anyone with a connection to this part of Massachusetts.
Color and Detail Note
Screen settings can affect the appearance of printed colors. Fine historic lettering is best appreciated close up.

Customer notes
From our collectors
“Great looking print. Paper was heavy & thick. The aging - spots, runs, etc added authenticity of it being an old chart. We Found a great frame and had it professionally mounted. Just the right size. Wanted to change the size And they were right on it - excellent product & seller. Thx”
“This is such a beautiful piece! I did not order the frame, I was lucky enough to find one similar the the barnwood frame in this listing and it still looks just as beautiful! Great quality , fast shipping, an all around great piece and great experience! Worth every penny!”
