“I received the print in perfect condition. It is so beautiful!! I love it. My fault - I didn't read your comments about framing being a separate item. I would have loved to have you frame it too. You do wonderful work. Thank you.”

The Story Behind the Print
A softly colored interpretation of an 1899 fish illustration. The Eel Cat's whiskers, long fins, fine engraved detail, printed caption, and plate number remain visible. Color was added as a modern treatment of the historical drawing.
Printed on a balanced landscape sheet in 8 × 6 or 12 × 9 inches. Choose the unframed print or a ready-to-hang Satin Black, Slimwood Silver, or Slimwood Gold frame. Sizes describe the print; a frame adds to the overall dimensions.
Colors may vary slightly between your screen and the finished print.
About the Frame
Framed pieces are built to order in solid wood with clear acrylic glazing, dry-mounted artwork, a kraft paper dust cover, and hanging wire. Each piece arrives ready to hang. No mat. Satin Black has a 7/8-inch face and adds 1.25 inches to the total width and height. Slimwood Silver and Slimwood Gold have a 1 1/8-inch face and add 1.75 inches to the total width and height.
The selected size refers to the artwork itself. Framed orders are custom made and ship within 7 to 10 business days, free in the U.S. See our shipping and return policies for framed piece details.
