“So thrilled with my purchase! The map and frame turned out beautifully, and Justin was incredible to work with. He was communicative and helpful when I needed my item shipped as soon as possible/expedited. I even had to switch shipping addresses after my order was already processed, and they switched it with no problem. Will definitely be making another purchase from Archive! Thanks Justin!”

The Story Behind the Print
Yellow & Speckled Bullheads from an unnumbered plate in a scientific publication dated 1908. The original fish illustration, printed labels, and fine linework remain visible. Its color belongs to the historical illustration.
Presented on a balanced landscape sheet in 8 × 6 or 12 × 9 inches. Choose Print Only or a ready-to-hang Satin Black, Slimwood Silver, or Slimwood Gold frame. Sizes describe the print; a frame adds to the overall dimensions.
Colors may vary slightly between your screen and the finished print.
About the Frame
Framed pieces are built to order in solid wood with clear acrylic glazing, dry-mounted artwork, a kraft paper dust cover, and hanging wire. Each piece arrives ready to hang. No mat. Satin Black has a 7/8-inch face and adds 1.25 inches to the total width and height. Slimwood Silver and Slimwood Gold have a 1 1/8-inch face and add 1.75 inches to the total width and height.
The selected size refers to the artwork itself. Framed orders are custom made and ship within 7 to 10 business days, free in the U.S. See our shipping and return policies for framed piece details.

“I couldn't believe my eyes when I unpacked the New York Times print. The quality is amazing and it really almost looks as if you have an old copy in your hand - once it's on the wall you can barely tell the difference. I am super happy with this print and would recommend shopping at this store anytime. Thank you so much!”
“I contacted Paolo to see if she had a map of a certain coastal area that wasn't currently available on her site. She responded within a few hours and located the print by the next day. I received the map a few days after shipping. I couldn't be happier with the quality of the print or the service. She was an absolute pleasure to deal with!!!”
