“I purchased this map in the 48x36 size. The print is exactly as described and shown. I had it framed at my local frame shop and just picked it up a few days ago. The shop owner answered all my questions in a flash. If ever I should need another map...I know where to go!”

The Story Behind the Print
Sheepshead from an unnumbered plate in a scientific publication dated 1908. The original fish illustration, printed labels, and fine linework remain visible. Its color belongs to the historical illustration.
Presented on a balanced landscape sheet in 8 × 6 or 12 × 9 inches. Choose Print Only or a ready-to-hang Satin Black, Slimwood Silver, or Slimwood Gold frame. Sizes describe the print; a frame adds to the overall dimensions.
Colors may vary slightly between your screen and the finished print.
About the Frame
Framed pieces are built to order in solid wood with clear acrylic glazing, dry-mounted artwork, a kraft paper dust cover, and hanging wire. Each piece arrives ready to hang. No mat. Satin Black has a 7/8-inch face and adds 1.25 inches to the total width and height. Slimwood Silver and Slimwood Gold have a 1 1/8-inch face and add 1.75 inches to the total width and height.
The selected size refers to the artwork itself. Framed orders are custom made and ship within 7 to 10 business days, free in the U.S. See our shipping and return policies for framed piece details.

“This was a gift for my brother and he absolutely loves it, the print is beautiful! Justin was wonderful to work with - we asked to exchange the first print we ordered because we decided we wanted the framed version, and he was so accommodating and made the process super easy. Fantastic experience!”
“Just beautiful! A unique, colorful print on high quality paper! Fast shipping and nicely packaged. Seller was quick to respond, polite and reliable. I will definitely be ordering more prints from them in the future!”
