The Story Behind the Print
This vintage Prothonotary Warbler print reproduces plate 3 from John James Audubon's nineteenth-century Birds of America, restored as historical wall art for studies, libraries and botanical gallery walls.
Two yellow warblers perch among the narrow leaves and curling tendrils of a cane vine. The upper bird leans forward above a companion with pale, partly spread tail feathers, while olive-green wings and small round fruits bring contrast to the bright plumage.
Archive Print Co. restores each illustration for clarity while preserving the character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.

About the Frame
Framed pieces are built to order in solid wood with clear acrylic glazing, dry-mounted artwork, a kraft paper dust cover, and hanging wire. Each piece arrives ready to hang. No mat. Satin Black has a 7/8-inch face and adds 1.25 inches to the total width and height. Slimwood Silver and Slimwood Gold have a 1 1/8-inch face and add 1.75 inches to the total width and height.
