The Story Behind the Print
This vintage Bonaparte's Flycatcher print reproduces plate 5 from John James Audubon's nineteenth-century Birds of America, restored as historical wall art for studies, libraries and botanical gallery walls.
A small gray-backed bird with bright yellow underparts perches within a magnolia branch. Broad green leaves show finely drawn veins and brown markings, while a vivid red seed cluster crowns the composition above the bird's slender bill and delicate feet.
Archive Print Co. restores each illustration for clarity while preserving the character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.

About the Frame
Framed pieces are built to order in solid wood with clear acrylic glazing, dry-mounted artwork, a kraft paper dust cover, and hanging wire. Each piece arrives ready to hang. No mat. Satin Black has a 7/8-inch face and adds 1.25 inches to the total width and height. Slimwood Silver and Slimwood Gold have a 1 1/8-inch face and add 1.75 inches to the total width and height.
