The Story Behind the Print
This vintage White-eyed Flycatcher or Vireo print reproduces plate 63 from John James Audubon's nineteenth-century Birds of America, restored as historical wall art for studies, libraries and nature-inspired galleries.
A bird leans downward from a flowering branch toward a small spider suspended on a fine thread. Pale pink blossoms, green leaves and the bird's bright eye give the tall composition its delicate detail. The original plate marking, script title, botanical caption and engraved credits remain visible.
Archive Print Co. restores each illustration for clarity while preserving the character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.

About the Frame
Framed pieces are built to order in solid wood with clear acrylic glazing, dry-mounted artwork, a kraft paper dust cover, and hanging wire. Each piece arrives ready to hang. No mat. Satin Black has a 7/8-inch face and adds 1.25 inches to the total width and height. Slimwood Silver and Slimwood Gold have a 1 1/8-inch face and add 1.75 inches to the total width and height.
