The Story Behind the Print
This vintage Marsh Wren print reproduces plate 100 from John James Audubon's nineteenth-century Birds of America, restored as historical wall art for studies, libraries and wetland-inspired gallery walls.
Three brown wrens surround a rounded, woven nest among tall green marsh blades. One bird tilts its open bill upward from a bare stem, while the other two cling beside the nest; barred tails, pale throats and fine strands of grass fill the compact wetland scene.
Archive Print Co. restores each illustration for clarity while preserving the character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.

About the Frame
Framed pieces are built to order in solid wood with clear acrylic glazing, dry-mounted artwork, a kraft paper dust cover, and hanging wire. Each piece arrives ready to hang. No mat. Satin Black has a 7/8-inch face and adds 1.25 inches to the total width and height. Slimwood Silver and Slimwood Gold have a 1 1/8-inch face and add 1.75 inches to the total width and height.
