The Story Behind the Print
This vintage Hemlock Warbler print reproduces plate 134 from John James Audubon's nineteenth-century Birds of America, bringing a finely observed woodland scene to a study, library or gallery wall.
Two warblers meet among broad dwarf maple leaves and a cluster of pale, pink-striped blossoms. The upper bird leans downward from its branch, while the lower bird lifts its yellow breast and spreads a sharply patterned wing and tail. The original plate number, title, botanical caption, small figure labels and engraving credits remain in the composition.
Archive Print Co. restores each illustration for clarity while preserving the character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.

About the Frame
Framed pieces are built to order in solid wood with clear acrylic glazing, dry-mounted artwork, a kraft paper dust cover, and hanging wire. Each piece arrives ready to hang. No mat. Satin Black has a 7/8-inch face and adds 1.25 inches to the total width and height. Slimwood Silver and Slimwood Gold have a 1 1/8-inch face and add 1.75 inches to the total width and height.
