The Story Behind the Print
This vintage Pine Swamp Warbler print reproduces plate 148 from John James Audubon's nineteenth-century Birds of America, bringing a richly detailed natural-history scene to a study, library or gallery wall.
Two olive-toned warblers occupy a branching hobble bush: one perches beneath a large leaf near the upper berry cluster, while the other sits lower against the crossing stems. The broad veined leaves, red-and-cream berries, original plate number, title, botanical caption, figure labels and engraving credits remain in the composition.
Archive Print Co. restores each illustration for clarity while preserving the character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.

About the Frame
Framed pieces are built to order in solid wood with clear acrylic glazing, dry-mounted artwork, a kraft paper dust cover, and hanging wire. Each piece arrives ready to hang. No mat. Satin Black has a 7/8-inch face and adds 1.25 inches to the total width and height. Slimwood Silver and Slimwood Gold have a 1 1/8-inch face and add 1.75 inches to the total width and height.
