The Story Behind the Print
This vintage Arctic Yager print reproduces plate 267 from John James Audubon's nineteenth-century Birds of America, prepared as historical wall art for a study, library or natural-history gallery wall.
One long-tailed bird flies across the upper half of the sheet while another stands on a rocky shore. Distant cliffs and blue-gray water anchor the lower scene. The original No. 54, Plate CCLXVII, Arctic Yager caption, Latin name and engraved credits remain with the artwork.
Archive Print Co. restores each illustration for clarity while preserving the character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.

About the Frame
Framed pieces are built to order in solid wood with clear acrylic glazing, dry-mounted artwork, a kraft paper dust cover, and hanging wire. Each piece arrives ready to hang. No mat. Satin Black has a 7/8-inch face and adds 1.25 inches to the total width and height. Slimwood Silver and Slimwood Gold have a 1 1/8-inch face and add 1.75 inches to the total width and height.
