“I received the print in perfect condition. It is so beautiful!! I love it. My fault - I didn't read your comments about framing being a separate item. I would have loved to have you frame it too. You do wonderful work. Thank you.”

The Story Behind the Print
This Audubon bird print reproduces plate 409 from John James Audubon's nineteenth-century Birds of America. Its engraved captions identify Havell's Tern and Trudeau's Tern as two distinct birds on the same coastal plate.
One pale tern stands high on a rocky rise while the gray-backed bird rests closer to the water. A distant shore and carefully rendered shells ground the composition. The original folio, Plate CCCCIX mark, both species captions and engraved credits remain visible.
Archive Print Co. restores each illustration for clarity while preserving the character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.
Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece; the print will always be richer in person.
