The Story Behind the Print

This vintage lunch room menu print reproduces a 1937 menu from Dayton's Lunch Room, restored as historical wall art for kitchens, dining rooms, cafes, and restaurant-themed gallery walls.

Green typography, boxed specials, and a broad restaurant heading organize the horizontal composition. Its printed dishes and period prices preserve a specific record of lunch-room dining in the 1930s. Headings include Relishes, Soups, Vegetables, Egg Dishes, Breads, Desserts, Sandwiches, Salads and Beverages, boxed lunches run from 20c to 35c, a Children's Luncheon is 25c, and The Dayton Company is named across the foot.

Printed on 325gsm museum-grade archival matte paper using fade-resistant giclée printing with archival inks, preserving the detail and character of the original for generations.

Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece — the print will always be richer.

About the Frame

Framed pieces are built to order in solid wood with clear acrylic glazing, dry-mounted artwork, a kraft paper dust cover, and hanging wire. Each piece arrives ready to hang. No mat. Satin Black has a 7/8-inch face and adds 1.25 inches to the total width and height. Slimwood Silver and Slimwood Gold have a 1 1/8-inch face and add 1.75 inches to the total width and height.
