Sidney Hall Aries and Musca Borealis Zodiac Print 1825
This archival zodiac print reproduces Sidney Hall's hand-colored engraving of Aries the ram with Musca Borealis from the 1825 celestial atlas Urania's Mirror. The historic constellation figure and surrounding stars retain the character and fine detail of the original card.
The landscape composition has a continuous warm archival paper ground, a complete engraved border and coordinated artwork scale. Every design in this zodiac series uses the same visual geometry so several signs can hang together as a seamless set.

Printed to order with archival inks on heavyweight 325gsm museum-grade matte paper. The restoration preserves the hand coloring, engraved line work, historic lettering and full decorative frame while replacing the uneven aged paper with a consistent warm background.

About the Frame
Framed pieces are built to order in solid wood with clear acrylic glazing, dry-mounted artwork, a kraft paper dust cover, and hanging wire. Each piece arrives ready to hang. No mat. Satin Black has a 7/8-inch face and adds 1.25 inches to the total width and height. Slimwood Silver and Slimwood Gold have a 1 1/8-inch face and add 1.75 inches to the total width and height.
