The Story Behind the Print
Sidney Hall Cygnus, Lyra & Vulpecula Constellation Print c. 1825
Lacerta, Cygnus, Lyra, Vulpecula and Anser appears in Urania's Mirror, engraved by Sidney Hall around 1825. Birds, a lyre, a small fox, and a lizard bring movement to this multi-figure sky chart. The stars, chart lines, and period lettering give this print its distinctive character.
The chart is centered on a coordinated warm paper field. Artwork scale and outer margins follow the same presentation rules throughout this constellation series, so multiple prints can hang together comfortably.
Premium Archival Quality
Printed to order with archival inks on heavyweight 325gsm museum-grade matte paper.

“Initially, I wasn't sure what size I needed. The seller was extremely helpful and offered to send mock-up images of the image in the frame so I could physically visualize the piece! Overall, it is a beautiful accent piece for our entryway table! Frame/image came packed well with not a scratch on it! Would recommend this seller 100%.”
“My daughter loves the map in her room. She looks at is a lot . She points to all the places she wants to travel to. The packaging was great. It was very safe with all the bubble wrap! The frame was what I picked out. It arrived when it was suppose to. Thank you Liz”
