The Story Behind the Print
This vintage Texas map print reproduces a 19th century vintage state map, restored as historical wall art for offices, studies, libraries, and Texas-focused gallery walls.
The map reflects Texas during a defining era of expansion, settlement, county formation, railroads, and regional identity. Its detailed place names, borders, and cartographic texture make it a specific piece of Lone Star State history rather than a generic map poster.
Archive Print Co. restores the image for clarity while preserving the aged cartographic character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclee art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.
Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece; the print will always be richer in person.
About the Frame
Framed pieces are built to order in solid wood with clear acrylic glazing, dry-mounted artwork, a kraft paper dust cover, and hanging wire. Each piece arrives ready to hang. No mat. The 0.875" frame face overlaps the print 0.25" on each side, adding 1.25" to the total width and height.
The selected size refers to the artwork itself. Framed orders are custom made and ship within 7 to 10 business days, free in the U.S. See our shipping and return policies for framed piece details.
