The meticulous detail reveals a cartographer's intimate knowledge of Green Mountain geography — every township boundary, river bend, and mountain peak rendered with the precision that defined mid-19th century American mapmaking. This was Vermont at the height of its wool boom, when sheep outnumbered people three to one and the state's economic influence stretched far beyond its borders.

Satin Black has a 7/8-inch face and adds 1.25 inches to the total width and height. Slimwood Silver and Slimwood Gold have a 1 1/8-inch face and add 1.75 inches to the total width and height.
