The Story Behind the Print

This vintage French oyster menu print reproduces a French seafood price board headed Huitres Par Personne, restored as culinary wall art for kitchens, dining rooms, cafes, and restaurant-themed gallery walls.

The heading means Oysters Per Person, followed by names including Armoricaines, Marennes Vertes, Ostende, and Zelandes. Varied typefaces, decorative rules, and warm sepia tones give this menu its distinctive bistro character.

Printed on 325gsm museum-grade archival matte paper using fade-resistant giclée printing with archival inks, preserving the detail and character of the original for generations.

About the Frame

Framed pieces are built to order in solid wood with clear acrylic glazing, dry-mounted artwork, a kraft paper dust cover, and hanging wire. Each piece arrives ready to hang. No mat. Satin Black has a 7/8-inch face and adds 1.25 inches to the total width and height. Slimwood Silver and Slimwood Gold have a 1 1/8-inch face and add 1.75 inches to the total width and height.
