The Story Behind the Print
This vintage bird print reproduces John James Audubon's White-fronted Goose illustration from Birds of America, plate 286, restored as historical wall art for ornithological studies, libraries, and natural history collections.
Two geese stand among shoreline grasses, one upright and the other with a wing raised. White facial markings, patterned brown backs, pale breasts, and red-orange feet bring warmth to the low coastal setting.
Archive Print Co. restores each illustration for clarity while preserving the character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.

About the Frame
Framed pieces are built to order in solid wood with clear acrylic glazing, dry-mounted artwork, a kraft paper dust cover, and hanging wire. Each piece arrives ready to hang. No mat. Satin Black has a 7/8-inch face and adds 1.25 inches to the total width and height. Slimwood Silver and Slimwood Gold have a 1 1/8-inch face and add 1.75 inches to the total width and height.
