“The print is beautiful and exactly what I expected. The customer service was OUTSTANDING. The seller went above and beyond to make sure I got my item in time for Christmas and even sent out a new one next day shipped because the first one wasn’t moving along fast enough through the postal service. Definitely recommend this seller and will be purchasing more from this shop in the future. Thank you!”

The Story Behind the Print
Alexander Jamieson Cetus Constellation Chart 1822
Cetus appears in Alexander Jamieson's A Celestial Atlas (1822). A colorful sea creature dominates this intricately drawn sky chart. The hand-colored figures, mapped stars, and period lettering give this chart its distinctive character.
The complete historical artwork is centered on a coordinated warm paper field. Consistent outer margins let several charts hang together as a collection.
Premium Archival Quality
Printed to order with archival inks on heavyweight 325gsm museum-grade matte paper.
Sizes and Frames
Choose 10 x 8 or 15 x 12 inches, either Print Only or professionally framed in Satin Black, Slimwood Silver, or Slimwood Gold. Sizes refer to the paper artwork; a frame adds to the outside dimensions. Framed options have no mat and arrive ready to hang. Display props are not included.
Color and Detail
Screen settings can affect printed colors. Fine historical lettering is best appreciated close up.
Archive Print Co. Professionally prepared and printed on museum-grade materials.
About the Frame
Framed pieces are built to order in solid wood with clear acrylic glazing, dry-mounted artwork, a kraft paper dust cover, and hanging wire. Each piece arrives ready to hang. No mat. Satin Black has a 7/8-inch face and adds 1.25 inches to the total width and height. Slimwood Silver and Slimwood Gold have a 1 1/8-inch face and add 1.75 inches to the total width and height.
The selected size refers to the artwork itself. Framed orders are custom made and ship within 7 to 10 business days, free in the U.S. See our shipping and return policies for framed piece details.

“I love this map! It came in perfect condition and it is beautiful! We had to get a custom frame which can get pricey, especially for the size we chose 48 × 36 but it looks great and filled our large wall perfectly! Great find!”
“This is truly a high quality, authentic print of Texas, we LOVE it! We went with the big 48 x 36 print and it looks amazing. Justin was great to work with and very quick to answer my questions. Shipping was fast too. All around, we are more than happy with our purchase!”
