The Story Behind the Print
This 1967 nautical chart of Annapolis Harbor was issued by the U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey for the waters off Maryland's capital on the Chesapeake Bay. Warm land tones and pale water give the sheet the calm, practical look of a working mariner's chart.
Annapolis and the Naval Academy sit at the head of the harbor, with Eastport across the creek and Greenbury Point and Whitehall Bay to the north. Hackett Point, Tolly Point and Bay Ridge mark the shore toward the open Chesapeake Bay, depth soundings cover the water, and compass roses sit over the harbor.
Printed on 325gsm museum-grade archival matte paper using fade-resistant giclée printing with archival inks, ensuring your vintage nautical chart will maintain its maritime heritage for generations.
Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece — the print will always be richer.
