The Story Behind the Print

This 1896 Bellbrook, Ohio map print shows the town plan in a faded sage wash on warm cream paper, with lettered streets, numbered lots, building footprints and owners' names.

The map letters Main, West, East, Franklin, Walnut, Maple, South and High streets and Xenia Road, with Hopkin's and McClure's additions, Magnetic Springs, a Magnetic Bath House and Hotel, the School Lot, Sugar Creek and the corporation line named.

Archive Print Co. restores each map for clarity while preserving the aged cartographic character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.

About the Frame

Framed pieces are built to order in solid wood with clear acrylic glazing, dry-mounted artwork, a kraft paper dust cover, and hanging wire. Each piece arrives ready to hang. No mat. Satin Black has a 7/8-inch face and adds 1.25 inches to the total width and height. Slimwood Silver and Slimwood Gold have a 1 1/8-inch face and add 1.75 inches to the total width and height.
