The Story Behind the Print
This vintage Brown Pelican print reproduces John James Audubon's illustration from Birds of America, plate 251, restored as historical wall art for studies, libraries, and natural history collections.
A brown pelican rests on a leafy branch, its long bill folded close to a dark neck. A pale yellow head and finely striped gray wing feathers contrast with the surrounding fresh green foliage.
Archive Print Co. restores each illustration for clarity while preserving the character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.
Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece; the print will always be richer in person.
About the Frame

“I received the print in perfect condition. It is so beautiful!! I love it. My fault - I didn't read your comments about framing being a separate item. I would have loved to have you frame it too. You do wonderful work. Thank you.”
