The Story Behind the Print

This 1903 Cohasset, Massachusetts map print sets the town plates in a pale hand-brushed wash on soft ivory paper, with its streets, estates, harbor and ponds kept in the original engraving.

The sheet is lettered Town of Cohasset, Norfolk County, with Cohasset Harbor, Gulf Island, The Gulf, Straits Pond, Lily or Great Pond, Sandy Cove and Bound Rock, plus a Sub-Plan and the Hull and Scituate lines.

Archive Print Co. restores each map for clarity while preserving the aged cartographic character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.

Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece; the print will always be richer in person.

“Shipped soon after I ordered and came in about a week! (That includes a holiday and the weekend). I loved how carefully packaged my print came and it even had a note from the seller, very thoughtful touch. The print looks so clear and the paper is great quality, it looks even better than the picture online. I would 100% recommend this shop/ seller.”
