The Story Behind the Print
This 1869 Collinsville, Connecticut map print shows Collinsville on the Farmington River in a faded sage wash on warm cream paper, with named streets, lot owners and building footprints, plus a business directory.
The map letters Main, South, North, River, Square, Hill, High and East streets, West River Street, Canton Road and New Hartford Road, with The Collins Company Axe & Edge Tool Works, the R.R. Station, a cemetery and the Farmington River named.
Archive Print Co. restores each map for clarity while preserving the aged cartographic character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.
Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece; the print will always be richer in person.
