“I contacted Paola and asked if she could print me a Sanibel Island map - even though there wasn't one on her page for sale. She immediately responded with "yes" and sent me a photograph before printing for me to approve. My package came well protected; and my picture is absolutely perfect! It looks beautiful in the distressed wood frame I bought. My mom is going to love it; and now I have to order one for myself!”

The Story Behind the Print
Étienne Léopold Trouvelot November Meteors 1868
This archival astronomy print reproduces Étienne Léopold Trouvelot's celebrated chromolithograph of the November meteors observed in 1868. First published in 1882 as part of The Trouvelot Astronomical Drawings, the plate pairs careful observation with unusually atmospheric color and detail.
The portrait composition brings a vivid scientific subject to a study, library, bedroom or collected gallery wall. Its warm ivory ground, artwork scale and balanced borders are coordinated across the Trouvelot series so multiple plates hang together seamlessly.
Premium Archival Quality
Printed to order with archival inks on heavyweight 325gsm museum-grade matte paper. The complete plate, including its historic title and signature details, is centered on a continuous warm ivory background.
Available Presentations
Choose Print Only or a professionally framed version in Satin Black, Slimwood Silver or Slimwood Gold. Available artwork sizes are 12 x 16, 18 x 24, 24 x 32 inches. Color and Detail Note
