The Story Behind the Print

This 1875 Hamilton, New Jersey map print shows the township in a soft sage wash on warm cream paper. Fine property lettering, creeks and railroads make it a detailed study piece.

The map names Hamilton Square P.O., Mercerville, Yardville, Groveville, Crosswicks and Extonville, with Doctor's Creek also lettered. Neighboring Lawrence, West Windsor and Washington townships are lettered along the northwest and east edges.

Archive Print Co. restores each map for clarity while preserving the aged cartographic character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.

Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece; the print will always be richer in person.

“Wow! This is the second print I've purchased from Paola and couldn't be happier with the quality! It's printed on nice thick paper and the colors are really vibrant. I bought it as a gift and the recipient loves it. The packaging was nice as well - it came rolled up so it was protected during shipping but unrolled easily for the frame. Thank you!!”
