“Shipped soon after I ordered and came in about a week! (That includes a holiday and the weekend). I loved how carefully packaged my print came and it even had a note from the seller, very thoughtful touch. The print looks so clear and the paper is great quality, it looks even better than the picture online. I would 100% recommend this shop/ seller.”

We restore and reproduce forgotten masterworks of graphic design on museum-grade paper — so they can live on your walls instead of in an archive.
The Story Behind the Print
Hamilton E. Smith’s U.S. Patent 21,909, granted October 26, 1858, documents Hamilton E. Smith’s rotary washing machine and the geared mechanism used to agitate clothing inside its vessel.
Two upright machine sections reveal the tub, crank, gearing, and internal washing action with unusual graphic strength. This restored edition preserves the original Patent Office arrangement in crisp black linework on cool, timeworn rag paper within the collection’s restrained black double rule.
Printed to order on 325gsm museum-grade archival matte paper with fade-resistant archival pigment inks. A natural piece for offices, libraries, workshops, and collections of invention and industrial design.
Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece—the print will always be richer.
