The Story Behind the Print

This 1873 High Bridge, New Jersey map print is rendered in a soft sage wash on warm cream paper. Fine property lettering, a railroad and numbered districts make it a detailed study piece.

The map names High Bridge P.O., Cokesburgh, East High Bridge or Everettsville and Silverthorn, with Raritan River, Beaver Brook and a Mountainville inset lettered across the sheet. High Bridge Business Notices sit at the lower left.

Archive Print Co. restores each map for clarity while preserving the aged cartographic character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.

Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece; the print will always be richer in person.

“I purchased this map in the 48x36 size. The print is exactly as described and shown. I had it framed at my local frame shop and just picked it up a few days ago. The shop owner answered all my questions in a flash. If ever I should need another map...I know where to go!”
