The Story Behind the Print
This 1906 Ida Grove, Iowa map print, from the Iowa Publishing Co. atlas of Ida County, shows the city in a faded sage wash on warm cream paper.
The plate letters the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Wards, Moorehead's 2nd Add., Harvey's 1st Add., the Village of Ida, Old Settlers Park, City Park and Athletic Park, the Court House and High School, Maple River, Odebolt Creek and Badger Creek, and the Chicago & Northwestern R.R.
Archive Print Co. restores each map for clarity while preserving the aged cartographic character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.
Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece; the print will always be richer in person.
