The Story Behind the Print

This 1873 Keyport, New Jersey map print shows the village plan in a soft sage wash on warm cream paper. Fine lettering of streets, docks and lots makes it a detailed study piece.

The map names Lockport, Mechanicsville, Browns Point and Raritan Bay, with Matawan Creek, Green Grove Cem., Raritan Cem. and the Keyport School lettered across it. Keyport Business Notices line the lower margin.

Archive Print Co. restores each map for clarity while preserving the aged cartographic character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.

Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece; the print will always be richer in person.
