This is a black and white photograph print of Lagoa da Conceição in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, Brazil, in a square format. Forested hills rise over a still lagoon, with mist drifting through the valley and a single small boat on the water.

Dense, dark trees cover the slopes, and a few pale trunks show among them. Mist fills the gap between two ridges and softens the farther hill. In the lower half, the lagoon's surface carries a band of bright ripples that fades into dark water with pale reflections at the bottom. The small boat sits at the centre, near the shoreline.
