The Story Behind the Print

This 1903 Lakeville, Massachusetts map print sets the town plan in a pale hand-brushed wash on soft ivory paper, with its roads, ponds and sub plans kept in the original engraving.

The sheet is lettered Town of Lakeville, Plymouth County, with Assawompsett Pond, Long Pond, Great Quittacas Pond, Little Quittacas Pond, sub plans for No. Middleboro, So. Middleboro, Lakeside and Pinehurst, and Freetown and Rochester along the border.

Satin Black has a 7/8-inch face and adds 1.25 inches to the total width and height. Slimwood Silver and Slimwood Gold have a 1 1/8-inch face and add 1.75 inches to the total width and height.
