The Story Behind the Print
This Lassen Volcanic National Park poster print presents an erupting Lassen Peak in a 1938 park design. The California mountain scene combines dramatic natural history with the direct graphic style of vintage travel posters.
A broad plume rises above the pale mountain, set against a golden sky and dark evergreen forest. Original Ranger Naturalist Service lettering lists park programs above the prominent Lassen Volcanic National Park title.
Archive Print Co. restores each illustration for clarity while preserving the character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.
Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece; the print will always be richer in person.
About the Frame
Framed pieces are built to order in solid wood with clear acrylic glazing, dry-mounted artwork, a kraft paper dust cover, and hanging wire. Each piece arrives ready to hang. No mat. Satin Black has a 7/8-inch face and adds 1.25 inches to the total width and height. Slimwood Silver and Slimwood Gold have a 1 1/8-inch face and add 1.75 inches to the total width and height.
The selected size refers to the artwork itself. Framed orders are custom made and ship within 7 to 10 business days, free in the U.S. See our shipping and return policies for framed piece details.

“The seller was great! And the item even better. Exactly as described and my husband was thrilled with this gift. Got the largest, framed map and it is stunning. Love it!”
“Brilliant service. The seller reported a delay in the frame style, a second choice was immediately substituted, (visual choices were made available), and the shipment completed without any problem. He was candid, honest, and thorough. The item is stunning! It is the focal point in the living room,”
