The Story Behind the Print

This 1903 Marion, Massachusetts map print sets the town plate and village plan in a pale hand-brushed wash on soft ivory paper, with its roads, estates, harbor and shoreline kept in the original engraving.

The sheet is lettered Town of Marion, Plymouth County, and Village of Marion, with Sippican Harbor, Buzzards Bay, Great Hill, Old Landing, Lower Village, Natural Town of Marion Park and Evergreen Cemetery.

Archive Print Co. restores each map for clarity while preserving the aged cartographic character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.

Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece; the print will always be richer in person.

“Brilliant service. The seller reported a delay in the frame style, a second choice was immediately substituted, (visual choices were made available), and the shipment completed without any problem. He was candid, honest, and thorough. The item is stunning! It is the focal point in the living room,”
