The Story Behind the Print
This 1903 Mattapoisett, Massachusetts map print sets the town in a pale hand-brushed sage wash on soft ivory paper, a quiet piece of local history for a study or library.
The map shows Mattapoisett Harbor and Buzzards Bay along the southern shore, with Nasketucket Bay to the west. Tinkhamtown, Aucoot, Ned Point Light and insets for Crescent Beach and Pico Beach fill the sheet.
Archive Print Co. restores each map for clarity while preserving the aged cartographic character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.

About the Frame
Framed pieces are built to order in solid wood with clear acrylic glazing, dry-mounted artwork, a kraft paper dust cover, and hanging wire. Each piece arrives ready to hang. No mat. Satin Black has a 7/8-inch face and adds 1.25 inches to the total width and height. Slimwood Silver and Slimwood Gold have a 1 1/8-inch face and add 1.75 inches to the total width and height.
