The Story Behind the Print
This vintage Passenger Pigeon print reproduces John James Audubon's illustration from Birds of America, Plate 62, restored as historical wall art for studies, libraries, and natural history collections.
Two pigeons lean toward one another across a forked branch, their bills meeting at the center. Blue-gray wings, warm russet coloring, long tails, and a single withered leaf give the scene a quiet intimacy.
Archive Print Co. restores each illustration for clarity while preserving the character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.

About the Frame
Framed pieces are built to order in solid wood with clear acrylic glazing, dry-mounted artwork, a kraft paper dust cover, and hanging wire. Each piece arrives ready to hang. No mat. Satin Black has a 7/8-inch face and adds 1.25 inches to the total width and height. Slimwood Silver and Slimwood Gold have a 1 1/8-inch face and add 1.75 inches to the total width and height.
