The Story Behind the Print
This vintage Chestnut-sided Warbler print reproduces plate 59 from John James Audubon's nineteenth-century Birds of America, restored as historical wall art for studies, libraries and botanical gallery walls.
Two yellow-crowned warblers perch at different heights on flowering stems, showing chestnut flanks, white cheeks and finely patterned wings. Pink-and-white blossoms rise above serrated green leaves, echoing the warm markings of the birds in a tall botanical arrangement.
Archive Print Co. restores each illustration for clarity while preserving the character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.
Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece; the print will always be richer in person.
