The Story Behind the Print
This vintage Blackburnian Warbler print reproduces plate 135 from John James Audubon's nineteenth-century Birds of America, restored as historical wall art for studies, libraries and nature-inspired gallery walls.
Two birds perch on opposite branches of a tall plant bearing pale pink blossoms. The upper bird's vivid orange-yellow throat and dark face contrast with its companion's brown back and pale eye stripe, while fine stems and softly shaded flowers frame their opposing poses.
Archive Print Co. restores each illustration for clarity while preserving the character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.

About the Frame
Framed pieces are built to order in solid wood with clear acrylic glazing, dry-mounted artwork, a kraft paper dust cover, and hanging wire. Each piece arrives ready to hang. No mat. Satin Black has a 7/8-inch face and adds 1.25 inches to the total width and height. Slimwood Silver and Slimwood Gold have a 1 1/8-inch face and add 1.75 inches to the total width and height.
