The Story Behind the Print
This vintage Red-winged Starling, or Marsh Blackbird print reproduces plate 67 from John James Audubon's nineteenth-century Birds of America, restored as historical wall art for studies, libraries and nature-inspired gallery walls.
Four birds are arranged among slender branches covered in delicate pink blossoms. A dark bird flies above with bright scarlet-orange shoulder patches, while the perched birds below show contrasting brown plumage and finely patterned wings, giving the tall composition both movement and botanical detail.
Archive Print Co. restores each illustration for clarity while preserving the character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.

About the Frame
Framed pieces are built to order in solid wood with clear acrylic glazing, dry-mounted artwork, a kraft paper dust cover, and hanging wire. Each piece arrives ready to hang. No mat. Satin Black has a 7/8-inch face and adds 1.25 inches to the total width and height. Slimwood Silver and Slimwood Gold have a 1 1/8-inch face and add 1.75 inches to the total width and height.
