The Story Behind the Print
This vintage Raven print reproduces plate 101 from John James Audubon's nineteenth-century Birds of America, restored as historical wall art for studies, libraries and nature-inspired gallery walls.
A black raven perches with its bill open on a curving gray branch, surrounded by green leaves and rounded brown fruit. Subtle blue highlights pick out the layered plumage, while the original script title and scientific name complete the botanical setting.
Archive Print Co. restores each illustration for clarity while preserving the character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.
Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece; the print will always be richer in person.
