The Story Behind the Print
This vintage Green Black-capt Flycatcher print reproduces plate 124 from John James Audubon's nineteenth-century Birds of America, restored as historical wall art for studies, libraries and botanical gallery walls.
Two olive-green birds with yellow underparts perch among tall stems, broad leaves and pale pink flowers marked with deep red. One faces upward beside the blossoms while the lower bird stretches across the foliage, its black cap contrasting with the surrounding greens.
Archive Print Co. restores each illustration for clarity while preserving the character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.

About the Frame
Framed pieces are built to order in solid wood with clear acrylic glazing, dry-mounted artwork, a kraft paper dust cover, and hanging wire. Each piece arrives ready to hang. No mat. Satin Black has a 7/8-inch face and adds 1.25 inches to the total width and height. Slimwood Silver and Slimwood Gold have a 1 1/8-inch face and add 1.75 inches to the total width and height.
