The Story Behind the Print
This vintage Black-throated Blue Warbler print reproduces plate 155 from John James Audubon's nineteenth-century Birds of America, restored as historical wall art for studies, libraries and botanical gallery walls.
A deep blue, black and white warbler perches on a tall columbine stem surrounded by nodding red, pink and yellow blossoms. Lobed green leaves, fine floral filaments and the long curving branch create an airy vertical composition with vivid botanical detail.
Archive Print Co. restores each illustration for clarity while preserving the character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.

About the Frame
Framed pieces are built to order in solid wood with clear acrylic glazing, dry-mounted artwork, a kraft paper dust cover, and hanging wire. Each piece arrives ready to hang. No mat. Satin Black has a 7/8-inch face and adds 1.25 inches to the total width and height. Slimwood Silver and Slimwood Gold have a 1 1/8-inch face and add 1.75 inches to the total width and height.
