The Story Behind the Print
This vintage Golden-Eye Duck print reproduces plate 342 from John James Audubon's nineteenth-century Birds of America, restored as historical wall art for studies, libraries and nature-inspired gallery walls.
Two ducks fly across a softly washed blue sky, their wings open and yellow feet extended. A green head and bold black-and-white plumage contrast with the other bird's chestnut head and patterned gray wings, creating an animated study of waterfowl in flight.
Archive Print Co. restores each illustration for clarity while preserving the character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.

About the Frame
Framed pieces are built to order in solid wood with clear acrylic glazing, dry-mounted artwork, a kraft paper dust cover, and hanging wire. Each piece arrives ready to hang. No mat. Satin Black has a 7/8-inch face and adds 1.25 inches to the total width and height. Slimwood Silver and Slimwood Gold have a 1 1/8-inch face and add 1.75 inches to the total width and height.
