The Story Behind the Print
This 1875 Princeton, New Jersey map print shows the township in a soft sage wash on warm cream paper. Fine property lettering, a canal and a railroad make it a detailed study piece.
The map names Princeton, Cedar Grove, Port Mercer, Kingston and Springdale, with Stony Brook, the Millstone River and a Princeton Basin inset at lower left. Neighboring Lawrence, Hopewell and Franklin townships are lettered around the edge.
Archive Print Co. restores each map for clarity while preserving the aged cartographic character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.
Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece; the print will always be richer in person.
About the Frame
Framed pieces are built to order in solid wood with clear acrylic glazing, dry-mounted artwork, a kraft paper dust cover, and hanging wire. Each piece arrives ready to hang. No mat. The selected size refers to the artwork itself. Framed orders are custom made and ship within 7 to 10 business days, free in the U.S. See our shipping and return policies for framed piece details.

“Just perfect! I adore it for my kitchen.”
“Wow! This is the second print I've purchased from Paola and couldn't be happier with the quality! It's printed on nice thick paper and the colors are really vibrant. I bought it as a gift and the recipient loves it. The packaging was nice as well - it came rolled up so it was protected during shipping but unrolled easily for the frame. Thank you!!”
