The Story Behind the Print

This vintage Italian restaurant menu print reproduces a 1958 take-out menu from Cafe Di Napoli at 816 Hennepin Avenue in Minneapolis, restored as historical wall art for kitchens, dining rooms, cafes, and restaurant-themed gallery walls.

A playful spaghetti chef and sweeping restaurant name introduce two columns of spaghetti, pizza, ravioli, lasagne, and sauces with period prices. The dark lettering and cream ground preserve the distinctive graphics of this Minneapolis Italian restaurant.

Printed on 325gsm museum-grade archival matte paper using fade-resistant giclée printing with archival inks, preserving the detail and character of the original for generations.

About the Frame

Framed pieces are built to order in solid wood with clear acrylic glazing, dry-mounted artwork, a kraft paper dust cover, and hanging wire. Each piece arrives ready to hang. No mat. Satin Black has a 7/8-inch face and adds 1.25 inches to the total width and height. Slimwood Silver and Slimwood Gold have a 1 1/8-inch face and add 1.75 inches to the total width and height.
