The Story Behind the Print
This vintage cafe menu print reproduces a 1950s menu from Jax Cafe, restored as historical wall art for kitchens, dining rooms, cafes, and restaurant-themed gallery walls.
Flowing script and red-and-black heraldic shields introduce appetizers, steaks, seafood, salads, and dinner specialties. The wide arrangement combines detailed food descriptions with period prices and decorative mid-century restaurant graphics. Shield emblems mark the headings Hors d'oeuvres and Appetizers, Choice Sizzling Steaks, Chef's Specialties, From the Lakes and Seas, Salads to Delight and Delicacies, with Beef Tenderloin Filet at $3.95 and Whole Maine Lobster at $5.75.
Printed on 325gsm museum-grade archival matte paper using fade-resistant giclée printing with archival inks, preserving the detail and character of the original for generations.

About the Frame
Framed pieces are built to order in solid wood with clear acrylic glazing, dry-mounted artwork, a kraft paper dust cover, and hanging wire. Each piece arrives ready to hang. No mat. Satin Black has a 7/8-inch face and adds 1.25 inches to the total width and height. Slimwood Silver and Slimwood Gold have a 1 1/8-inch face and add 1.75 inches to the total width and height.
